My local newspaper has a section called next generation. They ask budding young journalists from local schools to submit stories which, in turn, appear in the Saturday paper for thousands of readers to see. My best friend asked me to do a little comic for his article on teen immaturity and my heart was filled with glee. I drew, inked, colored, and handed over a piece of artwork that complimented his story quite nicely.
Time passed...................then the awaited day arrived. My picture was indeed in the newspaper but it was greyscaled and they got the school I was from wrong......so no one in my family knew it was me...........
On a different note, I get to take the SATs tommorrow. But it doesn't matter because the college I want to go to doesn't require you to take the SATs or ACTs. Hee hee gleeeeeeeee!
